Bring your website to life!

No one likes a boring website. Luckily it’s now very easy to add cool CSS3 animations. You might want to add an animation to bring the users attention to a particular part of the website for example a call to action or it could be just to bring your website to life. Using animate.css, all you need to do is reference the stylesheet and add a few CSS classes to your element(s). There are several different animations available including bounce, zoom, rotate, shake etc.

To enhance effects you can add a delay so that the animation is only fired once the user scrolls to the element. This can be easily achieved using WOWjs.

Master Class – Lesson #2 Enthusiasm

When you’re passionate about what you do, work doesn’t feel like work. You put time, effort and money into your business because you believe in it – now it’s time to share that belief with the people around you.

Enthusiasm is infectious. Tell your staff why you care about your company. While you’re at it, tell your customers too. The more excited people get about your business, the more successful it will be.

In turn, all this passion will come back around to inspire you, creating a feedback loop which will pay dividends for years to come.

Master Class – Lesson #3 Selling to Existing Customers

It’s much easier making a sale to an existing customer than to a prospective one. Your previous clients trust you and your products, so they’ll be more willing to get out their wallets.

Marketing to your existing database with a well designed newsletter will generate ongoing sales for your business. Each newsletter should be well thought out. The frequency of your newsletter will depend on your business. For most businesses every two weeks is sufficient.

Master Class #1 - Partnerships

The first piece of advice I can offer is this: build partnerships.

You can’t do everything on your own. If you try, you won’t succeed. (Imagine trying to do your own tax return on accounting software which you wrote using a computer that you built yourself.) Instead, you should focus on your core business and join forces with experts for everything else.
